With a nod to the official start of summer on June 20, we picked some of the coolest arts events happening during the next two weeks. Outdoor concerts, arts camps for kids, and once-a-year favorites like the Delaware Chamber Music Festival Concert Series and the African American Festival are all highlighted. In 1995, during the making of his TV series Triumph of the Nerds about the birth of the personal computer, Bob Cringely did a memorable hour-long interview with Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, who died in October, 2011. In the end, only a part of the interview was used in the series and the rest was thought lost. But recently a VHS copy was found in the series directors garage. Cleaned up with modern technology and put into context by Cringely, this is a unique and very candid interview that reveals as never before the burning passion of Steve Jobs, a passion that would go on to give us the iMac, the iPod, iPhone and iPad. |

For over forty years, Hot Tuna founders Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady have encapsulated electric blues. From their roles as original members of Jefferson Airplane, the Kaukonen-Casady duo created the classic psychedelic blues-rock sound, and their jam sessions eventually led to the birth of Hot Tuna. The group has toured and recorded steadily for over four decades. Hot Tuna is famed for their live shows, where both energy and musicianship take center stage.
