Katie Lillard creates abstract atmospheric landscapes from her imagination in her oil paintings. Katie studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, where she graduated with a concentration in oil painting and has also traveled to Florence, Italy to study landscape painting. She currently exhibits her work in Delaware and works as an artist for the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program. Watch the Meet the Artist video with Katie. The gardens of RAL are a beautiful setting for Shakespeares Midsummers Night Dream. The first Saturday of June, July and August, the RAL will host New Faces of Shakespeare a company of the Possum Point Players. This all volunteer cast is comprised of adults and youth from the region who will perform next to the grape arbor behind the Homestead.
