October is well upon us and the days are growing noticeably shorter. I am grateful for the warmth of community and likeminded others who understand my passion to inquire ever more strongly into the meaning of our existence and how we can consciously hold the many difficulties facing our current culture.
I love the quote from West African Dagara Elder Malidoma Som� who says: "Without a community you cannot be yourself. The community is where we draw the strength needed to effect the changes inside of us."
I wholeheartedly resonate with Malidoma's words, knowing this community supports all of us in being true to the part of our souls that longs for connection and authenticity. Thank to each of you for being a part of it. Meanwhile--read on to see what's new this month on the Alliance.
