Design and Sew Workshops at Vian Hunter!

Have you ever wanted to make a custom garment, learn to sew or learn to make patterns?

Lisa has teamed up with Pennie Laird-Sangerman who has been teaching and working in the fashion industry for over 25 years.

Pencil Skirt Workshop:

a 4 hour small group session where you will make a custom pattern

to fit your body and sew up your own pencil skirt

(the only thing to bring is 2 yards of your own fabric or you can purchase fabric at Vian Hunter)

Jan. 19 9-1pm, Feb. 16 9-1pm

$225. for one 4-hour session

Sewing 101:

This is a 2 session workshop where you will learn all the basics (or  refresher class).  You choose a project to sew (fashion or craft, knits okay)

Jan 24 and 31 (7-9pm), Jan 26 and Feb. 2nd (9-12pm)

(the only thing to bring is 2 yards of your own fabric or you can purchase fabric at Vian Hunter)

$225. for 2 sessions

Design and Patternmaking:

one-one-one for 4 hours to create your own custom pattern and garment or work on individual project

 (contact Lisa to make appt.)

$275. for 4 hours

Young Designer Workshop (age 13-19)

A 6 week workshop for aspiring fashion designers.  It includes portfolio work, sewing, patternmaking, sketching and it ends with a runway fashion show and porfolio presentaion featuring their own original creations!

February 6, 13, 20, 27 March 6, 13 (3:30-5:30pm)

$1500.
