The Exhibits Committee at Tryon Fine Arts Center is seeking participation in its upcoming Jeanne Parker Retrospective scheduled for this summer. Parker was a special and significant presence in the Tryon community for a number of years. She taught painting classes was involved in many other activities. Always gracious and generous with her time she was beloved by her friends here.
Anyone who has a Jeanne Parker work of art (painting, sculpture, or any other medium) and is willing to loan it for the exhibit is asked to contact TFAC at 828-859-8322.
"We are hoping to have a large number of her works so that this exhibit can be a fitting tribute to a wonderful woman," said Julia Calhoun, Exhibits Committee Chair.
