Enjoy the sounds of the Novi Choralaires
Rescheduled show, Sunday, Jan. 8 at Prince of Peace Church
If missed the  Novi Choralaires' holiday show in December don't fret! 

The 41-year-old community chorus, made up of men and women from Novi and the surrounding communities, will perform its "Songs of Food and Festivities" concert on Sunday, January 8, at 4pm at Prince of Peach Lutheran Church in Farmington Hills.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and children under 12.

Score big with youth floor hockey league
Co-ed league open to players in grades K-1, 2-3, 4-6
Have fun playing hockey without the ice in the Novi Parks Youth Floor Hockey League.

The co-ed league, which plays games on Sundays from Feb. 26-March 26, is played in a 6v6 format including the goalies. Practices are 30 minutes, followed by a game.

All players will get five games and practices, a jersey and award. Coaches and assistant coaches will serve as the referees.

Learn about your body at turning teen class
Workshop takes place from noon-3pm, Jan. 22 at Civic Center
Moms and daughters be sure to check out the new educational workshop about puberty called Turning Teen.

This body basics workshop for girls ages 8 and up is presented by Turning Teen co-founders Dr. Lisa Klein and Dr. Carrie Leff. Girls will learn about their body and its parts, body and brain changes in puberty, body respect, introduction to menstruation and enjoy yoga and lunch.

This program, which runs from noon-3pm on Jan. 22 at the Novi Civic Center, is sponsored by Providence Hospital and the cost is $60 per adult/child pair.
