Get active with Bounce Volleyball 
Co-ed games for adults 50+ take place Tuesdays, 10am-noon
Beat the winter blues by staying active with Novi Parks!

Residents 50+ who enjoy volleyball will love the new Bounce Volleyball program which starts February 28. The regular rules of volleyball apply except the ball is allowed to bounce one time before it is hit by a player.

There is no registration required to play Bounce Volleyball, so just stop by with friends or come on your own and meet others who enjoy the game and being active. The league is for both men and women and there is no cost to play.

Games are played on Tuesdays from 10am-noon until April 25 at Oak Pointe Church. For more information, visit  cityofnovi.org.
Novi Choralaires, Concert Band join forces
'It's Showtime' concert, Sunday, March 5, Civic Center Theater
The Novi Choralaires and Novi Concert Band are teaming up for a must-see concert on Sunday, March 5 at the revamped Novi Civic Center Theater.

The two talented groups, made up of community volunteers from throughout, will take the stage together for "It's Showtime!" The concert starts at 3pm and is free. Donations will be accepted at the door.

Both groups perform numerous times throughout the year and practice regularly to perfect their music. Learn more about these great musicians and singers at cityofnovi.org.
Enjoy a sweet treat at Cookies with a Cop
Chief Molloy will read to students on March 2 at 11am
Kids are not going to want to miss this special storytime event with Novi's Director of Public Safety/Chief of Police David Molloy.

Chief Molloy will be bringing cookies and his favorite children's book to the Novi Public Library at 11am on Thursday, March 2, for Cookies with a Cop.

The event, which will take place in the West Meeting Room, also will feature music, safety tips and time for the children to interact with local police officers. For more information, visit cityofnovi.org. 
Learn different Mexican folk dances
Mexico Lindo Ballet Folklorico starts Thursday, March 9
Learn about and perform different Mexican folk dances at the Mexico Lindo Ballet Folklorico program beginning Thursday, March 9.

Students will learn footwork techniques, proper use of skirt technique, choreographic patterns and formations. Some props may be used. There also will be discussions about the most important holidays in Mexico as well as the culture and traditions.

Classes are Thursdays from 6-7pm for ages 6-11, 7-8pm for ages 12-17 and 8-9pm for ages 18+. Cost for the eight classes is $82 resident and $98 non-resident. Registration ends March 7. Sign up online at cityofnovi.org.
