Art gallery highlights talents of TBI survivors
Gallery opening Friday, March 3, 3-5pm at Novi Civic Center
Stop by the Novi Civic Center throughout the month of March to be inspired by artwork from a talented group of traumatic brain injury survivors.

The City partnered with Cassell and Associates to bring awareness to survivors of TBI's by showcasing their client's artwork.

Come meet the artists at the opening on Friday, March 3, from 3-5pm in the Novi Civic Center atrium. State Rep. Kathy Crawford also will be on-hand to provide remarks.

The artists have been working on their pieces since last fall and include watercolors, acrylics and pottery pieces available for showing and purchasing.

Let's go on an egg hunt!
Eggstravaganza, Sunday, April 9, from 2-4pm at Fuerst Park
Make crafts, visit with bunnies and hunt for eggs at Eggstravaganza from 2-4pm on Sunday, April 9 at Fuerst Park.

Cost is $5 per child ages 2 and up. The egg hunts will be organized based on age.

Can you gear me? 
Buy/sell outdoor equipment, Sunday, May 7, Lakeshore Park
Unload some gently-used outdoor equipment or pick up some new items at the Can You Gear Me? event on Sunday, May 7 at Lakeshore Park.

Bring the family from 11am-3pm to demo equipment, enjoy popcorn and beverages and enjoy the great outdoors with a variety of activities.

Those interested in being a vendor must register at cityofnovi.org by April 28. Cost is $15 for a 10x20' space with one 6-foot table.

Join us in Novi's Memorial Day Parade
Memorial Day Parade, 10am, Monday, May 29
Help us honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation by participating in the annual Novi Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 29.

The parade starts at 10am and goes down 10 Mile from Karim Boulevard to the Novi Civic Center with the Memorial Service immediately following. Those wishing to participate can sign up here.

Veterans are also encouraged to walk or ride in the parade and enjoy a free lunch following the service. Veterans can sign up here or in person at the Novi Older Adult Services Office inside the Novi Civic Center.
