It's never too early to start playing soccer
Tiny Tikes spring season for 3-or 4-year-old kids starts on May 6
Get an early start on the sport of soccer by signing your 3-or 4-year-old up for Tiny Tikes this spring.

Participants will play in four practice/games, taking place in a 45-minute time slot with games played in a 4v4 format. 

A parent for every child is expected to help during the sessions and will be allowed on the field to help the players. A practice plan and game rules will be provided to all parents.

The spring season starts on Saturday, May 6, with sessions taking place at 9 or 11am. Cost is $34 for a resident and $41 for a non-resident. The registration deadline is April 11. Register online at cityofnovi.org.
Make some time for tea
Mom and Me Tea, Saturday, April 29 from noon-2pm
Treat your daughter to an afternoon of fun at the Mom and Me Tea event on Saturday, April 29 at the Novi Civic Center.

Mom and Me Tea, which runs from noon-2pm, gives mom's some special time with their daughters. They will enjoy tea, punch, cookies, sweets, crafts and a fashion show.

Tickets are $10 for residents and $12 non-resident. The registration deadline is April 14. Register online at cityofnovi.org.
Score big with adult soccer in Novi 
Spring adult soccer league starts April 21 at Wildlife Woods
Get outside and onto the soccer field this spring with Novi's Co-ed Adult Soccer League.

The 6v6, eight-game spring league will play games on Friday evenings starting April 21. Teams will receive trophies based on standings at the end of the season.

Players can register as a team or call the Novi Parks office at 248.347.0400 to be placed on a "free agent" list as an individual.

Cost is $239 per team, not including referee fees of $20 per game. Register online at cityofnovi.org.
Learn how to become a Jedi Master
Jedi Training, Thursday, May 4, 6-7:30pm at Novi Civic Center
Immerse yourself in the life of a Jedi by taking part in Novi's Jedi Training program on Thursday, May 4.

By the end of class, which runs from 6-7:30pm, kids will learn different skills and moves to be able to fight off the dark side. Participants will make a light saber, play games, enjoy a treat and be entered into a drawing to win a fun Star Wars gift pack.

The program is for kids age 4-12 and cost is $8 for a resident and $10 non-resident. The registration deadline is April 27. Register online at cityofnovi.org.
