Displaced Pets Say Thank You.

The recent tornadoes in north central Arkansas are extremely terrible and the our thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost loved ones, belongings, homes, and pets.

CARE is dedicated to helping in any way we can.  Thanks to you and your kind donations with our new Paws in the Pantry program, we have been able to deliver approximately 1,500 lbs of pet food this morning to pets that are displaced by the sever weather in Mayflower. This afternoon we will send another shipment of food and crates to Vilonia and surrounding areas.

We are extremely grateful for your recent pet food donations. They have been immediately put to good use and we at CARE wanted you to know where your donation went to help the most.  These pets are hurt, heart broken, and hungry.  We have been able to help with their hunger thanks to you.

Let's Keep The Momentum Going

With the recent disbursement of all this pet food, now we are beginning to run low. We need your help to keep the momentum going not only to the storm victims but those who can't afford to provide necessary nutrition to their pets.  Your immediate help is desperately needed in the following areas.

We Need:
Pet Food Donations (Unopened, fresh pet food)
Monetary Donations to help provide needed resources for this vital program

Host A Paws In The Pantry Food Drive

To the right you will see an image of Poyen School District's Junior Beta Club. They recently put on a Pet Food Drive and collected 3,145 pounds of pet food! When you host a food drive, let us know and we will come out with the CARE-A-VAN, some of CARE's adoptable pets, and a heart full of gratitude for your food donation.  We will help you promote your event to get the most exposure to ensure your food drive's success.  Call and speak with Jon at 501-603-2273 or email at director@careforanimals.org to set it up.

With your help and by CARE friends pulling together, we can help the families and pets recently devastated by the destruction of the recent tornadoes.

CARE thanks you and most importantly, the pets thank you.

With A Grateful Heart,

Jon Garrison
