  • "I'm Thankful for My Sister Scout"

We couldn't agree more with Samantha Mae, winner of the Diamonds Council "What I'm Thankful For" drawing contest, and in this time of gratitude, we wanted to give our thanks to volunteers.

We value the gift of your time, talents and resources to inspire and empower girls to lead lives of courage, confidence and character - and to have fun while doing it!

In 2017 we will celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouts in Arkansas - 100 years during which we have continued to honor our heritage while growing and changing to meet the needs of today's girls. We hope you will continue that journey with us.

May you have an abundance of blessings this Thanksgiving and beyond. On behalf of all of us at Girl Scouts - Diamonds, we wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!
How Do Your Girls Take Action?

At 10 years old, Samantha Mae, our "thankful" artist, has earned her Bronze Award and is currently working on her Silver Award. Samantha Mae and other girls like her experience the challenge, satisfaction and power of working to make changes in their communities and their world through community service and Take Action projects.

Take Action projects, along with the Girl Scouts highest awards - the Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards - address the root cause of an issue, and come up with sustainable, long-lasting solutions. These projects strive to make the world a better place for more people for a much longer time.

If you are new to Girl Scouts, or just want to brush up on the benefits and requirements of Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards, check out the information on the GSUSA website.

Girl Scouts - Diamonds offers Silver and Gold 101 training throughout the year. Check the activities calendar for the next sessions or email for more information.
