We should all want Ben Carson to succeed. If he does, the fight against poverty can be won. If he does not, then we continue down the same road we've been on for more than half a century. It goes in never-ending circles of more spending, more promises and fewer results. This endless loop of liberal orthodoxy brought us 80 uncoordinated means-tested federal welfare programs costing $744 billion annually ....
Pray for Dr. Ben Carson to have compassion and wisdom as Secretary of HUD. Thank God that Dr. Carson puts his faith and trust in Christ.

One conservative group is using Women's History Month to honor a top target of feminist opprobrium.
This March, the Independent Women's Forum is recognizing Vice President Mike Pence with its "Working for Women" award for being a "consistent [champion] of the economic reforms that women need most." IWF, a prominent conservative nonprofit organization, says it decided to honor the vice president based on "his long commitment to advocating for limited government, free markets, and personal responsibility." ...

Rape stories, when they can be used to vault social-justice issues into the nation's psyche, get exhaustive coverage and opining by the mainstream media, regardless of whether they're even true.
But if a 14-year-old girl gets gang-raped while attending high-school by two illegal immigrants? Crickets. That's a narrative that doesn't need to be advanced. Lord forbid, it may even help persuade some that President Donald Trump's positions on illegal immigration may be correct . . . .
Pray for truth to be revealed in spite of media bias, especially about topics as important as immigration.
