Grape Picking Fundraiser
This is an amazing fundraiser that yes,
is work, but also lots of fun and surprisingly enough, goes quite quickly. The more volunteers, the faster it will go. Although three dates have been set aside for picking (due to not knowing
when the grapes will be ripe to pick) we will pick on one day only. There will be three sign up sheets in the Welcome Center. One for each of the dates, August 26th, September 2nd and September 9th, all of which are Saturdays. Please sign up for as many as you would be available for. Lunch will be provided and we look forward to seeing you and spending time with our church family.

Garden Produce Is Ready!
Please stop in the Welcome Center and check out the produce from the youth garden. The vegetables are picked daily so check back often. Proceeds from the garden go toward the purchase of children's bibles.
380 Kids
It's time to register for 380 Kids Sunday School and Wednesday night program for the 2017-2018 school year. Please go to the SUMC website Children's Ministry tab and click the registration link at the bottom of the page. The link is also on the 380 Kids Facebook page. There will not be Sunday School on August 27th or
September 3rd. Sunday School will begin on September 10th with the Wednesday night program beginning on September 13th. The Wednesday night schedule calendar is listed on the website. If you have any questions, you may contact Heather Nekola at

AGC Employment Opportunities
All God's Children AGC is looking to fill two positions.
  • 3-4 year old teacher's assistant. This is a full time position that runs through the school year.
  • Part time child care assistant. This is a part time position that runs year round

Coordinating Our Building Use
Are you needing a place at the church for a committee meeting or event? Please note that ALL scheduling of the building's use must be cleared and scheduled through Julie in the church office. This is not a "permission" issue, but we do need this central location for keeping track of the building's activities (we are thankful to be able to host a growing number of Boy and Girl Scouts this year!). Just drop an email or phone the office (848-7213), so there are no surprises. Thank you!
