10-2-12 Goldiegirl: The Chapter VII removal comes first, then they will be allowed to have an internationally recognized currency. Many of the sanctions were removed in 2010. The ones outstanding are with Kuwait, which is why Martin Kobler works with Iraq and Kuwait on these differences. So yes, Kuwait holds a key.

I was reading articles last night , one said a National Meeting by weeks end. You have this article stating after mid October. Way too much conflicting information. Pentagon Finds Funding to Continue Iraq Training

The Pentagon says it will be able to fund the training of Iraqi security forces for the next 90 days, even though Congress did not include money for the program in its temporary budget resolution that took effect Monday.
Pentagon press secretary George Little says $1.7 million will be used from a special combatant commanders initiative fund to continue the training. Officials say there are roughly 160 military personnel doing the training in Iraq.

Al-igaily said in a press conference attended by (News Agency news) on Tuesday that the investigation is still going on in issue and did not resolve these issues so far, adding that the Commission would announce the results of the investigation on these names after completion of the course of the investigation.
