Alderley FZE win major contracts in Iraq

Alderley FZE, a subsidiary of Alderley plc, has recently secured contracts for two Crude Oil Metering Systems in Iraq. The contracts for both projects were issued by Petrofac, the international oil and gas facilities service provider, for the new Early Production System (EPS) for the Majnoon field in southern Iraq and for the first phase of the Badra Oilfield Development Project.
The Alderley FZE scope of supply for the Shell Early Production Facilities Project - Majnoon is for the provision of a Crude Oil metering system comprising 2 x 50% 14" duty meter streams with 10" ultrasonic meters, master meter stream, fast loop sampling and Containerized Control room with the associated flow computing equipment. The operator Shell holds a 45% stake in all licences, while Petronas and Iraqi Ministry of Oil hold 30% and 25% of interest.

Said the Iraqi List MP Mohammad Iqbal out there that are problematic in large arms deals with Russia in terms of funding, because Iraq's money is still in the box [bfi] under Chapter VII.
He told all of Iraq [where], that "Iraq may not be able to seal the deal, because it is likely to fail, the United States subject, and prevent the transfer of funds to Iraq."
He Iqbal said that "arming the Army deal a large amount of more than 4 / / billion dollars raised fears a number of political blocs, and the subject as a whole need to be answered by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, considering that held so great deals must be submitted to the House of Representatives and approved" .

Sinan al-Shabibi, Iraq's central bank governor, suffered a dramatic reversal of fortune last week.
He began it rubbing shoulders with his peers around the world at the International Monetary Fund's annual meeting in Tokyo. He ended it - according to his deputy, Mudher Salih Kasim - holed up in Geneva, facing an arrest warrant issued by the Iraq authorities after a parliamentary investigation attacked the central bank's supervision of foreign exchange auctions.

Yet, for all the questions facing Mr Shabibi - who hasn't been reachable for comment - even more now confront Nouri al-Maliki's Iraqi government. The handling of the probe into the governor and 15 other bank officials has - not for the first time - revealed what critics argue are the Iraqi administration's disdain for due process and its roughhouse approach to the rule of law.
In their bald statements shorn of explanation, the authorities have also shown little regard for the need to reassure Iraqi citizens and the business community that the economy will not be destabilised by the ructions from this allegedly wide-ranging scandal at one of the country's most important financial institutions.
Maliki to the Kurdish delegation: to solve our problems with the Constitution does not exchange pleasantries

Twilight News : Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, on Monday, the need to develop solutions to the problems and outstanding issues on the basis of the constitution and not to "sufficiency exchange of courtesies."
Maliki was received in his office on Monday, a delegation comprising representatives of Kurdish parties headed by Barham Salih, was at the meeting to discuss various issues with the territory.
Maliki said in a statement received "Twilight News" copy of "everyone strongly strengthens Iraq and cohesion, and vice versa, and called for" put the interests of Iraq above all else. "
Maliki stressed the need for contact with real problems and real action to develop solutions on the basis of the constitution and not merely the exchange of courtesies.
MP warns of increasing the size of the budget of 150 trillion dinars

Committee member warned the MP Abdulabas Xiaa economic, increase the size of the budget (2013) to become (150) trillion dinars because it will increase the fiscal deficit and Stthagl State for the purpose of debt repayment, adding that the current proposed budget and $ (113) good billion dollars to federal income ratio achieved.
Said Xiaa: The budget is supposed to be formulated in a way that is random, but is by calculating the volume of revenue attributable to the rate of spending in the country and against which determines the size of the annual budget. Said: asked Parliament to increase the size of budget funds next year to (150) trillion dinars will lead to economic problems in the country.

Kufa News: Minister of Planning Ali Yousef Shukri with Agency Director JICA Japan International Cooperation Takima Sakumoto joint cooperation and the possibility of expansion. Said a ministry statement: The Iraq's relationship with Japan distinct and based on mutual interests between the two countries and respect for sovereignty.
The statement quoted Shukri, saying: We look forward to further fruitful cooperation between our two countries, especially since Japan has potential and advanced capabilities can be utilized in the construction of Iraq, which has become a investment environment and promising in the region.
Banker: adoption of a new version of article 28 of the General Banking Act

Baghdad-morning: The Executive Director of the Association of private banks in Iraq Abdul Aziz Hassoun, the adoption of a new version of article 28 of the law on banks by the Central Bank in cooperation with the Association of private banks to facilitate understanding and to overcome the difficulties in investing in banks.
Hassoun said: the Banking Act of the year (2004) is a foreign text issued at a time when us civil administrator Paul Bremer, translation failed to explain certain articles clearly so that it did not give the true meaning.
Four names to run for the office of Governor of the Central Bank

Informed sources in the Iraqi Central Bank, on Monday that there are four names nominated herself for the position of Governor of the Bank has submitted their nominations to the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
The sources said in a press statement that "four names are Zia Alckheon and safety Sumaisem and the appearance of Mohammed Saleh and Ahmed ÇáČŃíĺí and is awaiting that resolved the issue of final Shabibi to be chosen one Hola by the Prime Minister."
