As I have spoken about these past few days democracy must be honored and the U.S. but by any means must reinstate Iraq's true winning leaders. This is in the makings and it also is transpiring as we speak.
I personally see all pieces of this puzzle taking shape and unfolding before our eyes. As you know there are a lot of players and entities that are all involved in this huge project, all of which desire that this product called a international release should come out as flawless and perfect as expected by all involved.
The next few days should be very interesting for us all and for those involved, government changes and close polls will make a deep impact here in America as well as abroad.

10-24- Tlar What is happening in Iraq is the democratic awakeness. We will see the constitution mentioned more and more in articles and interviews.
In the beginning...only a few really educated technocrats ever read what they wrote in total let alone any MP from any block. In Iraq people are just starting to see what is in their constitution.
They are doing this because there is a constitutional crisis going on. The SOL and Maliki from the very beginning have used the constitution where it benefited them and trashed it, where it, when it stood in the way.
MP's from all the blocks, the Kurds, Iraqiya and the Sadrists are feverishly for the first time seeing violations. Why? They are digging into their constitution as the proof source.
When this is over IMHO Iraq will become a democratic non secular government. Sadr has already made his mind up and has told Allawi...in Erbil if Allawi will allow some ministries to go to the Sadrists, he will support Allawi and Iraqiya in the next election. This is the crux of democracy.

According to a statement issued by the meeting received (News aloktalh News) said Wednesday that the meeting stressed the decisions made at previous meetings and follow up their implementation, it was also stressed that the persistence of such alagtmaat to implement political agendas and common positions towards internal political files, regional and bilateral relations on the basis of the agreement passes, and in this context decides to proceed with the subcommittees formed earlier, after Eid al-Adha.
The statement noted: that the meeting here on behalf of the political offices of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the people of Kurdistan and all Muslims in the world and the region on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, wishing to return this feast to all goodness and blessing, and that becomes a factor for a bright future of the Kurdistan region and enhance unity and the people of Kurdistan political forces.

Shabibi confirms confidence in the independence of the judiciary and announce his return to Baghdad soon

Saleh al-Mutlaq meets the new US ambassador in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / NINA : Deputy Prime Minister, Saleh al-Mutlaq discussed with the new U.S. ambassador in Iraq, Robert Beecroft overall Iraqi scene and regional challenges facing the political process in the country.
A statement by the Mutlaq's office said: the two sides discussed, during the meeting, overall developments in the local and regional arenas and the impact of the regional situations on the situation in Iraq.
Mutlaq expressed the hope of success to the ambassador in his mission in Iraq.
For his part, U.S. Ambassador expressed confidence in the strength of the ties of the friendship and cooperation between Baghdad and Washington, according to the statement.

10-24-12 Palladium: It is clear that the Parliament and GOI intend to clean out the CBI of everyone directly and indirectly connected to Shabibi. I also heard someone put forth a theory about the accusations against Shabibi. Shabibi has been accused of currency / exchange rate manipulation.
The theory is this. For days, weeks, and months (without end), the CBI has kept the exchange rate UNCHANGED. If the exchange rate is being held at a certain rate, when it could have and should have been changed; then wouldn't that be manipulation?
There was an article that came out yesterday that talk about the embassies abroad having false documents (what I believe to be forged bonds of some type) that were being used in the currency auctions. THIS is where the money laundering has been occurring folks!
Whether Shabibi knew of this or not, that is really no way to know. I do remember how Shabibi meet last year (I think) with the ambassadors and gave them instructions for how to get foreign investors and development for Iraq.

With that said, I do believe there is a certain "responsibility" for words posted in chats and that has been become as much a crusade as attempting to help ppl be prepared for what comes next when this is over. So with so much misinfo around let me summarize as best I can where things are in a very broad overview:
1: The Iraq Theory -
Many have posted article after article over the dissension between anyone and everyone in Iraq. The reposts and rehashing of articles has become word weary especially when you find an article that has been repeated several years in a row. And now, with the Shabibi articles it has the Iraqi world turned upside down.
How can this fellow that we were told for years has the best interest of his ppl in mind and was looking out for the greater good is corrupt? How can such blatant disregards for their constitution be implemented (wait, that happens here all the time, nice model) and carried out so directly in the media and conversations.
