Traders make a killing on banknotes before withdrawal TUOITRENEWS A+ A-

The bills will be withdrawn from circulation as of January 1, 2013, the State Bank of Vietnam said late last month.
VND10,000 and VND20,000 paper banknotes are now offered for sale at prices up to four times higher than their face value following a recent announcement from the State Bank of Vietnam that the bills will be withdrawn from circulation from next year.
The paper notes will cease to be legal tender from January 1, 2013, the central bank said late last month.
They can be exchanged for the currently circulated polymer versions after this milestone, the bank added.

10-9-12 Fresh: For all those that have continued to try and say for the last several months that Maliki is on his way out, etc. I've always maintained he's not going anywhere. Maliki was never in danger of getting a "no confidence vote." He was installed and supported by the USA, nobody will touch him without our consent. Meanwhile we have the crew setting up preparation for the National Conference, finalizing HCL and getting things lined up for Maliki to finally give the stamp of approval. This is all very coordinated right now. I'm sure the key political figures from Iraq are WELL aware of when they have to get these things satisfied or risk huge consequences
10-9-12 Blaino: Prime Minister Maliki agreed to a National Conference. Implementing Arbil appears to be the only way to get all the different blocks together at the same table and that fact may just be the one thing that gets the Arbil agreement over the last hurdle!
Good guys win! That means us! Our parliament watchers and lurkers report that it's essentially the same as the draft proposal from 2007 and the work consists of a few changes in a few areas that might well have been unforeseen a few years ago.
I had moved Planet/Dinarian back to "Dinaricon Alert Level 4 last week, then brought us back to 5...where we remain watchful, hopeful and wary of the "rumors!" Some are concerned that people wont think that there would be enough $to back the dinar, most of the collected dinar is already destroyed, there will be plenty of $$.

Baghdad (news) : Threw independent MP full-Dulaimi, responsibility for the continuation of the political crisis on the leaders of the blocks, due to their seriousness in resolving the crisis and agree on mechanisms solutions.
Dulaimi said in a statement (of the Agency news) on Tuesday: The leaders of political blocs current are leaders of parties and sects and nationalities, and not to the State Administration , and the commander of the state should be locked Iraqi issue, and not other issues, stressing that the leaders of the blocks are not serious to solve problems political crises and the exit from the current situation and agree on solutions, because of a loss of confidence among them.

banke BAGHDAD / Obelisk: A member of the parliamentary Finance Committee Haitham al-Jubouri, Tuesday, that the five banks and general manager of civil money in the Central Bank of Iraq involved being involved in money laundering through the central bank auction.
Jubouri said for "obelisk", "The initial reports indicate that the dominant auction at the Central Bank, including representing between 60 to 70% on average up at times to the extent of 96%, five banks civil is Arbil and Al Ahli and the Middle East and the United and the North", He pointed out that "these banks the most selling hard currency."
Jubouri said that these banks "common in money laundering operations and the monopoly of foreign currency in collaboration with the director as long as the Department of Finance and public debt at the central bank by bank governor was a secretary."

The Kurds news paper has a ticker tape running across the top and it said that the HCL and the Irbil (correct spelling with an I) will be announced at the National Convention. And that everything was voted on and passed last week. And the Marshal Plan is also open on the 15th. I do believe that it will be the cover for the RV or CE. I read that post myself on the Kurd paper Sunday morning. I will try to find some one's computer and come visit. It's really been a bummer with no chat. Have a blessed week. 10-8-12 Doc: We have several articles confirming a couple of key points we speculated on last week. First, several releases confirmed Maliki is the major roadblock in the political landscape of Iraq.
This includes most all the reform such as Erbil, currency, etc. One news outlet reported "President Jalal Talabani seeks to resolve the crisis through the provision of paper carrying visions of all the blocks, asserting that Maliki has the key to solving the crisis agreed to implement what.
" This is very consistent with Allawi's assertion that Maliki has been the roadblock for some time. We continue to assert that the main reason for Maliki's interference is pressure from Iran and the US all-be-it for different reasons.
