The only way I could justify this past Monday by giving you a time frame of 11/6/12 to 1/20/13 was for the GOI to take complete formation. Many thought it was a date I was giving for the RV. You see......the next thing that would happen is that some of the AoP would immediately suffer a mild stroke while the surviving strong ones would quickly turn their attention to Shabibi and the CBI. If they were pleased with what they saw in Parliament and their legislation then the odds are highly favorable that the CBI would be given the nod to work with the GOI on releasing the 000's so they could apply a higher rate value to the IQD that needs to fulfill a 137 trillion budget for 2013. ...

11-1-12 Tlar: If Shabibi is reinstated without a trial then the CBI thing should be reversed and be independent again. If Maliki backs off and Shabibi assumes control of the bank again then this may in fact never go to court.
I would rather see a court case against the GOI's unconstitutional move in attempting to take the bank. Maliki is in control at this time only because his guy is the acting governor of the bank. Shabibi will not take orders from Maliki. That is precisely why Maliki orchestrated his removal.
The UN, US and IMF [are] preparing Shabibi. I believe that is the main reason Maliki will back down and reinstate Shabibi. Shabibi will not only aim to clear himself but I believe he will ultimately put Maliki on the hot seat. There is too many fronts for Maliki to face right now.
I think within the next days he will come to a decision that if this goes to trial and it is transparent worldwide, that he can't win.
He will try to shut down this firestorm before it consumes him. These are just my thoughts but I believe them to be a reasonable assessment of the situation Maliki finds himself in at this particular time I would rather be Shabibi accused of theft than Maliki if he loses face and control.
Shabibi is most assuredly not guilty while Maliki's house is made of a very thin glass. I believe once the rats start to abandon ship, Maliki will sink.

Iran's currency woes hurt wallets in Iraq

The plunge in Iran's currency is proving bad for business for the country's neighbours, who can no longer rely on flush Iranian pilgrims and tourists to fill their accounts.
