Whatever way you can, please help. Many need your help now.
http://www.nbc.com/hurricane-sandy-coming-together/Matt Lauer hosts a star-studded Red Cross telethon to benefit Hurricane Sandy victims, featuring Christina Aguilera, Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Whoopi Goldberg, Jimmy Fallon, Jon Stewart and more! Donations benefit the Red Cross relief efforts.
You can also donate at www.redcross.org, 1-800-HELP-NOW or text "REDCROSS" to 90999to make a $10 donation.
On a personal note, more than half of the Dinar Recaps Team is in the Tri-State area and were all without power and/or water, including one team member who as of Saturday morning is still without power. I feel very fortunate that none of us had any major damage and still have roofs over our heads.
Last night I filled two shopping carts with clothes, underwear, socks, shirts, hats, gloves and blankets. My friend and I will be bringing that as well as buying food and other supplies to Staten Island, which was hit very hard and a place we have connections with.
We are also going to do a food and clothing collection in our community.
Now is a good time for everyone to clean out your closet and drawers of clothes you have not worn in a year and find a collection place in your area. Last night it was 40 degrees and lower in many of the affected areas and warm clothing is needed by many.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Please donate to The Red Cross, or however you can. It is greatly appreciated.
Best to all,
Ken Dinar Recaps

5 Pieces of Financial Advice to Avoid at All Costs By Suze Orman
Suze Orman on the commonly accepted money tips it pays to ignore.
Bad financial information doesn't come only from scammers; even our loved ones can unwittingly steer us wrong. That's why knowing what not to do with your money is often your biggest asset.
In general, there are two little words that should set off everybody's suspicion meter: "Trust me."
Anyone who gives you this line-whether a financial adviser or your significant other-is disrespecting you. You should never entrust a money decision entirely to someone else. I know, I know: Sometimes you'd rather pass the buck. But remember, we're talking about your security, your future, your peace of mind.
It's one thing to hire an investment adviser to help you choose funds for your IRA, or to cheerlead a spouse as he or she sets up a 529 plan to help pay your child's college tuition. It's quite another to tune out completely. ...

15Things Really Successful People Want You to Know
By Oprah.com | Secrets to Your Success
1 Not to Sweat the Small Stuff
The thing that's grand about spending your time thinking about the universe is that it makes you feel insignificant. I don't mean that in a bad way.
If you understand that we've now discovered entire solar systems that contain planets similar to Earth, and that those are just the ones we know about, since most of the stars we've looked at are within about 300 light-years of Earth and the distance to the center of our galaxy is nearly 100 times that--then you realize that the laundry you've left undone and the dumb thing you said yesterday are about as significant as slime mold.

11-2-12 Mike: Chapter 7 is what we have over Maliki to form his government. In order to stop us from looking like we are standing in the way, remember Chapter 7 gives us certain benefits to do things, to move in and take care of things.
If you give Maliki Chapter 7, then you are releasing him from having to form his government to get the prize. That needs to happen. We need Chapter 7 as leverage.
The Kuwait thing with Chapter 7 is just Window Dressing. Kuwait has released them from everything they needed to do. Maliki negotiated all of that.
They have gone out and done what they needed to do and they did it. WE like it but you don't want to release them before they have their government formed period. ...
