BY REMOVING THE 3 ZERO'S OR THE THOUSANDTH POSITIONS THEY ARE NOW BROUGHT IN LINE WITH THE NOMINAL VALUE OF THE USD. NOW WHAT IT THE CONVERTED VALUE AFTER THE REMOVAL OF THE ZERO'S? 1.17 DINARS = 1 US DOLLAR OR .86 CENTS", that is how I see it.
They are going to come in at a buck or completely ignor the new currency & new money supply & come in at a lower rate. We are at the mercy of the CBI. Print in September, distribute in January...just below a buck.

["Anyway, I talked to my partner last night and he said that you cannot believe all of the media articles. The reason is that what is printed within the country is not as portrayed as the media to the world.
He said that there seems to be a controlled information stream that most outlets use. That is what most of the posts portray. What is being said within the country and the news (limited as it is) is much different.
This is why I do not believe much of what the news says, unless it comes from another country. This is why I posted a well known article from Iran regarding Iraq.

We are also seeing some great news about Chapter 7. Until Iraq has the Chapter 7 issue resolved, we cannot expect to see the value of the Dinar raise (at least not significantly, anyway).
So to summarize that: Shabibbi is implicated as head button-pusher (this is good!), they are starting to show weakness in their "resolve" to "delete the zeros" (this is good!) and the Chapter 7 issue is ready to buckle once and for all (this is also good!)

Baghdad / WAP : A member of the Committee of Economy and Investment parliamentary deputy Aziz Sharif Mayahi, Tuesday, that the change of the Iraqi currency if the deletion of zeros is not too bad, because the deal would be equal with all the cash.
He Mayahi told Baghdad International / WAP / Tuesday, "The change of currency in case if it will not affect the local markets, and if changed the currency and zeros remained the same, it will affect the movement of the markets negatively."
