This conventional wisdom is based on an old model, dating back to the 1600's, of treating the body more like a machine or an object that needed to be completely understood and controlled.
It became an accepted belief that only people with certain educational expertise were able to repair the body when it became ill or injured.

[BOBGETZ6] I am perplexed this morning as we should have already gotten our RV, or we are close. If this does not happen by the next few days, or by the end of the month, September looms large. Something has to have happened for Wells Fargo to give vouchers for the PTB, polititions, and the whales.
That is a lot of work to create those accounts and vouchers. The good thing is they cannot get theirs until we all can. Our only hope is that they can exert pressure to get this done in order to have access to their funds. They could care less about us, but can't get there without us. I hear various opinions from a select trusted few, but timewise, I don't always agree.

Iraq will RV between .30-1.00, we will cash in our dinar. Iraq will again RV probably to $2.00, then Iraq will double the value of dinar we turned back to them, giving them trillions in profit. Simple if you think about it. Once these coins hit the streets it's over.

Our understanding at this point is the U.S. went to the UNSC to ask them to get involved with the border issue and it was vetoed last time but they asked China to give them permission not to veto it and then they could RV at this point.
China did veto it though. We think China is waiting for us to move forward first. There are some political dynamics that involve international activities.
That's one of the things we think might be having an impact on things.

Khafaji: No positive step taken by Political Reforms Committee till now

Baghdad (AIN) : MP, Mohamed al-Khafaji, pointed out that "The Political Reforms Committee did not take any positive step till now concerning the pending issues," noting that "The Sadr Trend will not support the Committee if it proved to be not serious."
He stated to AIN "The crisis is going to be solved if the State institutes including the Political and Service institutes were reformed."
"We have reached agreement with the members of the State of Law Coalition and the Iraqi National Alliance over comprehensive and real reforms to solve all the pending issues," he stressed.
Iraqi farmer commits suicide over lack of water

An Iraqi farmer committed suicide on Thursday because a lack of water, which has forced hundreds of families to abandon their homes in recent years, had taken a toll on his land, officials said.
Salman Habib, 54, shot himself dead, leaving behind an 11-member family, including seven children, according to Ali Hussein Raddad, the mayor of Al-Islah town in Dhi Qar province, south Iraq.
"Salman suffered from severe psychological problems because of the difficult economic situation he was in, which pushed him to take these actions," Raddad told AFP.
Global oilfield growth lifts Schlumberger, Baker Hughes

Schlumberger Ltd (SLB.N) and Baker Hughes Inc (BHI.N), the world's No. 1 and No. 3 oilfield services companies, posted higher-than-expected profits on Friday as revenue piled up outside North America, and Baker's shares leaped 10 percent.
Investment cycles outside the volatile U.S. and Canadian oilfield markets are generally smoother, and analysts said Schlumberger got a particularly big lift from Europe and Africa.
The Baker Hughes-compiled U.S. rig count has been steady as natural gas reductions have been offset by more oil drilling. But the count outside North America hit 1,285 in June, its highest level since 1985, lifted by the inclusion of some 80 rigs in Iraq that expanded the Middle East count by a quarter.
Baker Hughes stuck with its forecast for 8 percent growth in the international count this year, excluding the Iraqi rigs, while Schlumberger expects more than 10 percent growth.
Kurdistan Alliance supports the nomination of Talal Zobaie for the post of Minister of Defense

Said the Kurdistan Alliance said Friday that he supports the nomination of Attorney for the Iraqi List Talal Zobaie for the post of defense minister, stressing that he is a national figure and enjoys the confidence of the Kurdish leaders who have historical links with ancestors who fought in the revolution of the twentieth. The leader of the Kurdistan Alliance Mahma Khalil said in a statement official today, "said the Kurdistan Alliance strongly supports the nomination of MP Talal Zobaie to the post of defense minister." Khalil said that "Zobaie personal and national, professional and enjoys the confidence and acceptance of the Kurdish leaders," stressing that "the Kurds have historical ties with the elders of the tribe Zoba who led the revolution of the twentieth were hosting them in a timely manner for a period of two years. " and stressed that "the Kurdistan Alliance and supports the nomination will vote in the House of Representatives Zobaie when displaying the names of candidates for the vote."

Baghdad (NINA) : Iraq called on the United Nations to help Iraqis in Syria to return home.
Informed source told NINA on Friday, July 20, that the Iraqi government demanded the Iraqis that they ought to leave Syrian territories for their safety.
Earlier, the spokesman for the Iraqi government, Ali al-Dabbagh, announced that the government has provided four airplanes to bring Iraqis residing in Syria back to Iraq.
while a source at the Ministry of Transport said that Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has assigned his own plane to bring Iraqis from Syria.

Mayahi demand to increase housing loans

Baghdad (AIN) : The member of the Economic and Investment Parliamentary Committee, Aziz Sharif al-Mayahi, demanded the government and the Parliament to increase the housing loans which are granted for citizen from IQD (30) million to IQD (50) million.
Mayahi stated in press conference to AIN on Friday that ''The housing loans which are granted for citizens in order to build their houses are considered few compared to the prices of building materials.''
Maliki appeals to UN for the protection of Iraqi cooperation and assistance to facilitate their return to the country
