8-14-2012 Austin-Powers-For-PM: Hey, all of us have to wonder if this will really ever happen. However, we also have to look at what happens if it doesn't. What happens to Iraq if they continue to struggle at their artificial rate that grossly undervalues their country's wealth?
What happens to the Euro if there is not a massive amount of liquidity injected into the system? And most of all, what happens to the U.S. when we approach Greek-like debt loads in 4-5 years that we can never pay back except with a massive printing press that will virtually devalue most every investment vehicle in the world?
It's not a pretty picture and the IMF has known about this for years and years. The individuals who have been tasked with getting our global finances back on an even keel (or something close) know that only a radical solution exists to prevent another Great Depression that could have military consequences that would make WWII look like patty cake. Keep looking at the big picture and keep asking yourself "What happens if NOTHING happens?"

[cruiser] Do we all realize that over the last couple of weeks, we have fixed the unemployment problem (8M dinar holders, say 3M with jobs and they will reitire after the CE, thus giving 3M in job openings, reducing the unemployment nunber to about 6.5-7% (actually it would be alot lower). We have fixed the debt problem (Debt forgiveness). Fixed the currency probelm (making it all asset backed), fixed the bank corruption problem ( Breaking them up, makeing them smaller and not too big too fail). There are other issues also. However, it seems that you have chosen to focus on whether or not a website is based out of North Carolina or where an author lives. You have addressed none of the information I presented.
I have now presented over 20 documents (Harvard studies, Macroeconomic Research Papers For Government Bodies, Political Risk Consultancy Firm Paid Subscription Reports etc.). I assume you have read none of them since you don't debate their findings. If you have read them and choose not to dispute their finding then that would lead me to believe that you agree, which would negate your argument. If you have more accurate information I would be very interested in reading up on that.
