Council of Ministers of the Kurdistan region endorses the oil agreement with the federal government

Council of Ministers approved the Kurdistan region in its customary meeting Tuesday night on the oil agreement, which has recently between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government on 13 / Sept. address a number of outstanding issues between Baghdad and the Kurdistan region in the field of oil and gas.
A statement by the Information Office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan today that "the Prime Minister of Kurdistan Barzani said during the meeting that the ratification of this agreement by the Federal Council of Ministers is a step in the right direction to resolve disputes between the KRG and the federal government, pointing out that the Kurdistan Regional Government consider optimism to this agreement, "hoping that" this agreement be a factor to reach an agreement on oil and gas law and the law of the distribution of resources. "
He added, "As the price of the Council of Ministers initiative KRG high and that came from one party, in spite of the absence of the agreement, since the beginning of August in 2012," scheduled "re-export of oil and which demonstrates the goodwill region to address the problems in the public interest for all parts Iraq and in the light of the Constitution and the laws. "

Shen sentenced to death Tareq al-Hashemi, Thursday, a sharp attack on Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, said he "would not hand over" the prosecution of the international community, criticizing the attitude of the Iraqi List; for not withdrawing from the government after the verdict.
The Iraqi judiciary issued earlier this month of September, sentenced to death in absentia on Hashemi after being convicted of "terrorism charges and management of death squads."
Hashemi said in an exclusive interview with TV "Sky News Arabic" from Istanbul that "files on Maliki accumulate, is not safe from prosecution of the international community in the future, no one forgets what he has done in the right MEK in 2011 when he was killed 45 of them and wounded 250 others" , in reference to the Iraqi army attack on Camp Ashraf, about 65 kilometers north of Baghdad.
Million jobs for the unemployed in infrastructure projects

BAGHDAD / electronic integrity: A source familiar with the Council of Ministers for the government seeks to provide one million jobs for the unemployed through the Act infrastructure projects.
It is scheduled to vote on the law in infrastructure before parliament next week, and Prime Minister had attended the parliamentary session last week and asked law, triggering a political row.

Central: Annual inflation is not large and under control

The deputy governor of the Bank, the appearance of Mohammed that "inflation rate basis for the month of August, rose to 14.0%," attributing the cause to "rise in housing prices, and private rentals . "
He added that "the annual inflation rate basis for the month of August rose by 0.2% compared to the base with inflation for the month of July . "

Babinaoz - Agencies: Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, to the holy city of Najaf after concluding his visit to Sulaymaniyah and meet President Jalal Talabani.
A local official said the "Twilight News", "The governor of Najaf, Adnan al-Maliki was greeted at the airport in Najaf and the number of members of the provincial council." And that "reason for the visit is to attend (Maliki) Conference of the Hajj and Umrah for mentors and guides." Maliki visited yesterday by President Jalal Talabani in Sulaimaniyah city, and they discussed the most prominent developments in the political arena.

9-19-2012 Mountainman: The news today was amazing. Chapter VII, HCL, Defense Ministers, Erbil all being addressed and the banking conference said a lot by saying nothing. If the CBI was going to do a simple redenomination it would be very straight forward and would have been discussed.
Clearly they are not and that is great new for us. Until it happens we'll never be sure if this will be a float, RV then float, straight historic 100,000% rv straight to 1 to 1 etc. We need to be tolerant of all opinions and be honest with each other that we are just speculating.
Nothing frustrates me more than the guys who come in the room with their "secret intel they can't share that has all the answers." This is such an exciting time and we should all come together and be honest with one another. Go RV!!

9-19-2012 IQD1217: "Convert 37 trillion dinars to 37 billion dollars by deleting three zeros from the current currency." They will reduce the money supply and raise the value of the Dinar!!
Less bills make the money worth more , backed by the gold, oil and countries economy. There is no lop!! Why do you think they are changing all the banking laws? To make Iraq strong enough to deal with the global markets!! This is Great news.
Reducing the money supply by deleting the zeros leaves us with no profit. It's nothing like Turkey. When you reduce the money supply and replace the larger bills with lower bill they have to add value! Read the ministry of planning project, it explains how it works.
The rate of 1164 has been keep by the CBI, It costs money to produce smaller bills so of they were going to keep the rate the same why would they print new bills? They said all along that buying every days goods is project you need to carry bags of money to buy small items!!

9-19-2012 Sandstorm: Thats what they've been telling us. No doubt, no question. However, is it a cover story? There have been recently numerous articles which could us to believe a RV is the goal. ie issuing gold coins, issuing bonds, floating exchange rate, no questions allowed on the IQD at the London conference, constantly changing and delaying deleting three zeros.
There is a great possibility we see a RV but then again the CBI could easily delete three zeros. I'm enjoying the confusion in the financial arena concerning deleting zeros and the constant delays.
IMO There are some plays in the playbook for the CBI. What they do is something I cant say for sure. I honestly see either possibility. Yet I'm fired up to see the recent talk about the different possibilities for monetary policy.

When I opened the account( in April) my friend gave my name and number to a gentleman in the bank who was kind enough to answer some questions for her and told him we were invested and he said if he ever heard anything he would let us know. 9-19-2012 GPCarter: As a full-time, forex trader I felt I should make this posting. I keep seeing posts where people talk about the IQD "movement" and rate changes on sites like XE, Forex Pros etc., and I felt compelled to share this information.
Due to the time I spend doing market research and analysis for my forex trading I don't have much time to do the question and answer thing on the forums. So, that is another reason I am making this post. FYI, I am not trying to beat anyone up, bash, be rude or stir up trouble.
I am actually hoping that this will help people get a better understanding. First off I would like to mention: 1. Yes, I am a holder of IQD. 2. Yes, I believe it will RV. 3. No, I don't believe it will be a LOP. 4. No, I don't get into time, rates, dates etc. 5. No, I don't have any "secret" or "inside" information and none of the other forex traders I know do either.

When we get closer to finishing this ride, should we start to see more articles concerning the affects on the ISX or articles assuring share holders concerning the price or number of stocks they own?

New Oil & Gas "Free Zone" for Zubair

The Iraq General Commission for Free Zones and Basra International Oil and Gas Hub (BIOGH) have formed a joint venture to create a "free zone" for oil and gas at Khor Al-Zubair.
Totaling 11 million square meters (about 118 million square feet) and located directly adjacent to the strategic Khor Al-Zubair port, the free zone will provide a mixed-use site for manufacturing, storage, and servicing of the expanding requirements of Iraq's petroleum sector.
According to the Oil & Gas Financial Journal, the development will provide all of the benefits of a free zone for the oil and gas logistics supply chain and will include permanent residential accommodation and recreation facilities for users of the zone in a secure environment; it will be entirely self-sufficient in terms of power generation, water, telecommunications, and waste management processing. The BIOGH Oil & Gas Free Zone will also provide all users with long-term agreements and a fast-track process for regulatory approvals.
