9-24-2012 Administrator Bob:The week begins with the focus on President Talabani and political reconciliation leading to a National Conference. Parliament continues to review and read various laws as Iraq crawls toward a free market economy.
9-24-2012 BGG We need to see Najafi, Allawi and Barzani get on board with the National Meeting & show some will to get it done. An article came out saying Najafi is meeting with Talabani right now or earlier today. The second meeting will be Tuesday, Talabani will meet with Allawi. Talabani has to get Allawi on board. Barzani is going to be fairly easy to get on board, he is not as critical. Allawi is the issue. It's all good news.
9-24-2012 Mike: We talked about the approval from Kuwait to remove Iraq from Chapter 7 - they have been given it for years - they are ready to go - it is pretty much tied to the formation of their government - once this is in place they will be able to remove the final chapter of their sanctions which is Chapter 7 and and they will be ready to go - makes no sense to remove it before the formation of their government at this particular point in time because the UN has no recourse if something goes wrong.

Iraq announces the high rate of oil exports and imports in August

Twilight News : announced and the Iraqi Oil Ministry, Monday, that the total crude oil exports for the month of August 2012 has achieved a rise in the rate of exports and increase in revenue reported in the month of July.
The exports amounted to 79 million 500 thousand barrels, while the revenue realized from the sale of eight billion and $ 445 million.
A spokesman for the Oil Ministry, Assem Jihad said in a statement reported for " Twilight News "The increase achieved one of the highest in more than two decades.
He pointed out that the exported quantities of crude oil for the month of August last divided between Basra oil exports totaled 69 million and 800 thousand barrels.

Bear5642 says to you all, please do not financially support anyone from the sites nor give them give money. The Feds have been monitoring the sites and looking for predators taking advantage of people. Think about it - if the person requesting money tonight from people on his conference call really had that level of influence, he wouldn't need anyone to sponsor him. The BEAR has spoken! Do not trust anyone asking for a handout or asking for payment when offering cash out positions at any bank. This is a violation of Federal banking laws.
We are all hearing everything is done and they just need to push the button. No one knows exactly when it will happen, however, Iraq has been diligent in positioning themselves to actually support an RV. I personally do not see the rate coming out under $3.00.

9-23-2012 Mike: What we are waiting on next [is] to see the date of the National Meeting and see if we can get the rest of these reforms passed; biggest hump in the road for the National Meeting is going to be Allawi and his power sharing and seeing where that goes.
I think what you have here is Maliki attempting to back door him and bust up the coalition by dealing with the 140 - great for us - we will take it - We will take it but eventually he is going to have to deal with Allawi. Eventually he is going to have to give up a chunk of his power and that is when he is going to be eventually done and eventually he will drop out of the politics of Iraq.

Haider Ali Jawad : MP for the Iraqi List, Salem Daly said the failure to pass a lot of important laws a great indicator that there are challenges facing the Parliament, believing that most important political decisions cook and hatched outside the parliament and then take its legitimacy within the parliament. Such work is reflected in the performance of the parliament.
