We’ve all been there (and many of us still are): on the go, on the town, on Vol 2. of “My To-Do List,” which now sports an index and leather binding. So on Thursday, June 14, when it’s five o’clock somewhere and you’re contemplating dinner options or out of time to cook, check out this list of Pause for Dinner restaurants, where 20% of your dinner proceeds will benefit the Louisiana SPCA.
With over a dozen favorite NOLA restaurants already signed up, you’ll discover dinner options perfect for you and your best friend, biggest crush, or babies of the animal and human variety alike. Normally eat out? Perfect! You’re one step toward supporting those who support wo/man’s best friends. Rarely eat out? Treat yourself so the SPCA can provide treats to the neediest animals among us.
Restaurants range all cuisines, neighborhoods, and prices, from the Quarter’s Eat New Orleans and Meauxbar Bistro, to Ralph's on the Park on the Park (go figure), to Lakeview’s The Velvet Cactus, Metairie’s Vega Tapas and Mark Twain's Pizza Landing to Gautreau's Restaurant, The Irish House, and La Petite Grocery Uptown, Cafe Degas and Santa Fe Restaurant on Esplanade, and Mid-City favorites Crescent Pie & Sausage Company and The Bulldog. Now there’s a treat people and animals can shake on.
