Program Highlights

Council programs -- numbers are on the rise!

The program team announces that the 5 staff led events we've hosted this year have served 555 girls and adults.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in  Girls Night Out and Sneak Peek Pajama Parties in Superior and St. Cloud and Diva for a Day in Alexandria! We are pleased to be able to offer council programs to provide programming for girls to attend on their own or with their troop.

In January we present the third Girls Night Out & Sneak Peek Pajama Party events in Baxter, MN at Westgate Mall and then in February we're headed to Irongate Plaza in Hibbing -- the location that got the mall sleepover started for us many years ago!

We have much more fun (and learning) in store  ... click the links below for details or visit the "events" page of our website for a complete calendar.

Do I need to bring a Chaperone to Council Sponsored Events?

Over the past few years we have had an increase in individual girls participating in council programs

independently .  As a result of this "shift," we've modified our chaperone requirements for council events.

The biggest change is in events led by council staff. If a girl attends on her own (without her troop) we will provide the chaperones. This applies to staff led Events listed in our Program Events & Activities Guide, including: council sponsored events, camp pathway, and travel pathway.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Girl Scouts Speak Out!
(PSA CONTEST)

Today, cell phones and tablets let us stay connected to friends and family -- or even just play games wherever we go. Airplanes let people cross oceans faster than ever before. Lightbulbs help keep our homes bright at night. Television brings us new kinds of entertainment and allows us to see what's happening on the other side of the planet.

Now, imagine it's 2050. What does the world look like?

Make a PSA and submit to Girls Speak Out by  January 15, 2014. (Click on Girls Speak Out for complete details!)
