Any Mummers 'lowed in?

Every December, for hundreds of years, we've put on disguises and changed our voices before heading out to visit the neighbours. You can join the fun and learn about this amazing tradition at the province's largest dress-up party – the Mummers Festival.


A sweet new tradition.

Our dedicated blogger braved the calories and visited Newfoundland Chocolate Company for a lesson in making their delicious treats. For nearly a decade, these local entrepreneurs have been handcrafting chocolates and confections enjoyed around the world.

You can find practitioners of art and craft in every town and outport in the province. Paintings, wood carvings, hooked rugs, stoneware pottery, and so much more. The Heritage Shops throughout the province are great places to discover something you'll treasure forever.
