4 . 1 3 . 1 7
Good afternoon...

I just ran through the final orders of service with Ethan for the weekend. We are really excited for what we have prepared for this Friday and Sunday. The services on Friday will not be the same as the services on Sunday in any way.

We will begin our Easter weekend with two reflective times of worship on  Good Friday at 6 & 7PM.  You won't want to miss this time of prayer, worship and remembrance. We will be taking communion together on Friday as we focus on the cross of Jesus.

Then on  Easter Sunday we will culminate our weekend with three celebration services at  8:45, 10 & 11:15AM!
You do not want to miss this service... it is the central reason we worship together each and every week!

We have some powerful music and video components to help illustrate our message on Sunday... And a little birdie has told me the band may be working on some Justin Timberlake to throw in the mix as well.  Make sure you invite your "peeps!"

I want to ask all of you regulars who are not serving in either the 8:45AM or the 11:15AM service to consider attending one of those.

As I look back over the last several years the 10AM is always overflowing and I get concerned that we may be getting close to not fitting anymore people in that room.  So please think of how you can make room for others by coming to 8:45 or 11:15!  The service will be 60 minutes long. So we will get out at the same time as usual.

We cannot wait to see you this weekend!

Good Friday Services
This Friday, April 14  *  6 & 7 PM

Easter Services at Discovery
8:45, 10 & 11:15 AM

We live in a time when the idea of winning is everything. If you come in second, you're just the first loser.   Win at all costs! Never surrender!    Maybe that is why Easter can be difficult for many of us   to understand.    Because Easter is all about surrender.    What we learn from the cross and the empty tomb is that the only way for us to win in every way that counts... is to wave the white flag.    Jesus surrendered everything for us, and He invites us to trust everything to Him.

Join us for one of three services on Easter Sunday. This will be an excellent service to invite friends and family. Full Children's programming will be offered at each service. Fuel (grades 6-8) will be offered only at the 11:15 AM service.
Next Message Series - It's Complicated
Beginning Sunday, April 23

Relationships can be complicated. Sometimes it's the relationships we choose and sometimes it's the relationships we don't choose. We are all imperfect people.  How do we not drive each other crazy and get along?  How do we lovingly handle differences? Over this four-week series we will explore some Godly wisdom that might just help a lot of us bring a better person to every relationship.  But then again... It's Complicated.

Discovery on Mission

One of the main goals of Journey Groups is to serve together to connect more and more people with Jesus.  Sometimes we say, we want to MOVE together.  While all Journey Groups engage in serving, this group is highly committed to consistently helping others throughout our community.  Each month we'll engage in different projects and objectives to serve others throughout the year in local missions each week.  If you would like to be a part of this group mark your "flap" on Sunday or if you have questions, please contact
Nick Ranjan .
Infertility Support Group

Approximately 6-10% of married couples are infertile, meaning that they can't get or stay pregnant.  This statistic affects Christians and churchgoers, too. Infertility is lonely. If you find yourself in this group, we want you to know that you are loved and you are not alone.  Please consider joining our private group where frustration is met with friendship. If you think that you may benefit from hearing about similar experiences, sharing medical information, or being reminded that you are important apart from being someone's mom or dad, please contact Debbie Harrington or send her a private Facebook message.
