Hey guys!
Everyone has a list. You know the kind of list we're talking about: the list of likes and dislikes. The list of qualities you want in someone you date. Maybe your list includes characteristics like smart, funny, and attractive. Maybe you want the person you date to be confident and strong. Do you want them to be a football player? A musician? A supermodel? A Christian? No matter what your list includes, when it comes to dating, we're all looking for the person who meets all of our criteria-the right person for us.
Unfortunately, there's no specific formula in the Bible to tell us just how to go out about finding the right person. But God does give us instructions about something even more important for our dating lives: how to
become
the right person. And when we begin to shift our focus away from
finding
to
becoming
, we'll find ourselves more dateable now and more dateable later when the right one comes along.

Pursue Conference (formerly PCTC)
6th - 12th grade
Friday - Sunday // February 26 - 28
The weekend conference includes large group sessions (good music, motivating speakers, and fun), a time to choose your own workshops, and a stay at the Hilton Hotel in Harrisburg, PA with 1,500 other students. It is a great bonding time and fun with your friends! Meals are not covered; most will be purchased in the food court connected to the hotel. Hotel rooms are by gender and will have an adult chaperone in each. For full event details please go here.

| Fuel Offering Every week we receive an offering as a continuation of our worship to God...giving back to him a portion of what he has given to us. As our guests, we ask that you not put anything in the bucket...this act of worship is reserved for those of us who call Discovery our home. All contributions will go directly to Discovery Christian Church and help support our missionaries in El Salvador. |
