I-Zone Offers Exclusive Opportunity, First-Look at Tomorrow’s Technology Today

Display Week’s annual I-Zone competition is the chance of a lifetime for researchers and inventors ranging from start-ups to educational institutions and small businesses. Every year, Display Week reviews applications from around the world that feature emerging technologies and new products that haven’t hit the market yet, and awards free space at the exhibition where thousands of attendees – and potential investors and business partners – will be able to see it. I-Zone winners have booths in a dedicated area on the exhibition floor, right alongside more established companies. Due to its popularity, we’ve expanded the I-Zone area for 2017 - so make sure you stop by! The 2017 I-Zone is sponsored by E Ink.

Check out the 2016 winner for Best Prototype, nVerpix, and the other 2016 I-Zone exhibitors.

Three decades later, the technology behind organic light-emitting diodes is thriving – which is a rare occurrence in a field that moves as fast as the speed of light. Join us on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, 3:40-5 p.m., to find out what continues to make OLED so attractive to inventors and consumers alike.

The 2017 Technical Symposium is one of our most exciting and important forums. Display Industry Awards Seek the
Best of the Best

The Display Industry Awards are the industry’s most prestigious awards. For more than 20 years, they have honored and recognized the best display products and applications that have made a significant impact in the field. The awards are granted for technologies introduced to the market in the previous year in three different categories: Display of the Year, Display Application of the Year and Display Component of the Year.

Winners are selected by the Display Industry Awards Committee based on nominations from both SID members and non-members, and announced during Display Week.

Display Week is as well-known for its focus on the business of display technology, as it is for showcasing the latest technology itself. Every year, it features a Business Track that includes conferences focused on the business end of the field. Using the theme of "Safety, Utility, Ubiquity", the conference will cover the market opportunity, from both a qualitative (what products) and quantitative (how many) standpoint, and will discuss in detail the three main elements of the automotive display market - flat panel displays for multiple locations in the vehicle, touch panels and interactivity, and heads-up displays and augmented reality.

AR/VR Wearables Market Focus Conference - May 24

This conference will address three of the hottest areas in the display and consumer electronics markets in one event – and address the outlook for these markets and a number of pressing questions: Who will win the headset battle – direct view or microdisplays? Can wearables regain momentum? What are the display requirements in these markets?

Register today to learn about the current and future state of these rapidly shifting markets.
