Annual Solo & Ensemble Festival for Band

District 41 band students participated in the annual Solo & Ensemble Festival for Band on Saturday, February 11 at Hadley Junior High. Solo & Ensemble is an opportunity for students to choose to perform a solo and/or ensemble in front of another professional music educator to showcase their preparation and musicianship. Then, during a one-on-one clinic, they receive praise and constructive feedback from the clinician on how they can continue to improve their craft.

The festival continues to grow in number each year. This year, the festival included 55 solo and ensemble entries. Mr. DePalo, Mrs. Tribley, and Mrs. Weiland continue to hear wonderful feedback from the adjudicators and look forward to providing their students with rich musical experiences.
