Reminder - School Closing Announcements

It's almost that time of the year! If there is a need to close school due to inclement weather, parents will receive voicemail and email notifications as early as possible. This is a good time to update the information you have on file with the school so you don't miss a notification. Also, if you included your cell number in the text notifications field in Skyward Family Access, you will also receive a text. If you need to make changes to your contact information, please contact your child's school office. The district will also post school closing information on the District 41 website, school websites, and will report to the Emergency Closing Center, www.emergencyclosings.com. The decision to close school due to weather is made no later than 5:30 a.m. that day.
