District 41 Cubs fans are celebrating today!

Community Survey

Community members who live in District 41 boundaries should receive a survey in the mail this week from School Perceptions. The district would like your feedback about your overall satisfaction with the school district and your thoughts on possible facilities plans for the future. The survey is open until November 21 at 5 p.m.  A representative from School Perceptions will present the results at the November 29 Board of Education meeting.  All are welcome!

If you have not received a survey or if you would like an extra survey for another adult in your household, please call (630) 534-7218 to request an additional survey access code. Parents will also be receiving an email from School Perceptions with survey details.

Mentor Day with the Rotary Club of Glen Ellyn

Forest Glen School Principal Mary Hornacek participated in Rotary Mentor Day today. Morgan Lemke, former Forest Glen student and current student at Glenbard West, spent the morning with Principal Hornacek learning about education administration. They then joined the rest of the mentors and students from Glenbard West and Glenbard South for lunch at Glen Oak County Club.

Thank you, Rotary Club of Glen Ellyn!

Lunch Dismissal Procedures

The district has created a consistent lunch dismissal procedure across all of the schools for the safety of students.

A parent or approved designated adult will be required to sign the child out at the school office and sign the child back into school after lunch. Some schools already have this practice in place. It will now be consistent across the district. Safety is our number one priority. If you have any questions, please call your child's school.
