THE HARDEST PART OF FAITH IS THE LAST HALF-HOUR!"
Did YOU take the time, PRAYER and effort to WRITE OUT your NEW YEAR PRAYER yet!!??
I did and have and safely stored it away for frequent re-visits to see IN WRITING what God HAS done for me in 2017.
2017 had a rocky beginning in my home.
My wife had a malignant tumor removed from her nose/face several years ago and due to the prolonged radiation treatments has been unable to swallow solid foods ever since.
She daily must rinse out her nasal passages with saline solution and is prone to painful eye infections.
She arose on January 1st with another eye infection that necessitated a trip to the local ER.
It so alarmed her that she RELUCTANTLY made an emergency appointment with the surgeon who originally removed the tumor-something I and her family had long urged/begged/nagged her to do.
Please forgive all the personal info-I had to say all that to get here!! SMILE!!!
In my NEW YEAR PRAYER-yes, I said it again-my NEW YEAR PRAYER- I had asked of God for her HEALING-SPECIFICALLY that she be able to eat real foods again and gain some weight.
She weighs 88 lbs. and cannot even enjoy a simple REAL plate of food!
I was dismayed and confused as to the WHY she was suddenly so sick AGAIN!!??
I had just written my NEW YEAR PRAYER for her healing????
The enemy cast doubt and fear in my heart-was the cancer returning with a vengeance??
All day yesterday I battled in my faith??
Did God REALLY promise that He would "PUT NONE OF THESE DISEASES UPON THEE????"
Exodus 15:26 (KJV)
26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
I wondered and questioned God.
I had even typed the above Scripture in my NEW YEAR PRAYER!!
I HAD "named and claimed" Exodus 15:26!!!
Even my wife wondered "where is God in all this-WHY ME/WHY NOW on 1/1/17??"
The ANSWER came late that afternoon AFTER the doctor examined her face and DID NOT FIND any visible sign of cancer returning-in fact all looked well in the area he had removed!!
PRAISE BE TO GOD!!!
The doctor also demanded she go see a "swallow doctor!"
The POINT I am trying to make here, beloved, is:

YES, I HAD just written out my NEW YEAR PRAYER just a day or so BEFORE 1/1/17!!!
Just as Joseph told his evil brothers:

BUT GOD MEANT IT UNTO GOOD!!!!!"
Most likely the wisest thing I have ever coined is this phrase:
"SOMETIMES GOD CAUSES/ALLOWS CATASTROPHE in our lives in order to create a CATALYST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Sometimes God must blow US off our seats of "do nothingness" and MOVE!!!!
I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER!!!
TODAY, God IS mindful of what YOU are enduring and "WILL even make a a WAY in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert!"
Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
