ANSWER THE PUZZLER
The Traveling Snail

A snail is at the bottom of a 30 foot well. Every hour the snail climbs up three feet,
then immediately slides back down two feet.  How many hours does it take for the snail
to get out of the well?

Everlasting Valve
Severe Service Valves to  Cut Maintenance and Replacement Costs

Do you replace or repair an installed valve more than once per year? If so, there is a better valve for your application. Abrasive and corrosive materials, extreme temperatures and high pressure are all problematic for standard rotary valves. Designed to resist erosion,  Everlasting Valve Company's rotating disc valve is made for tough applications in pneumatic conveying or vessel discharge systems

How They Work
Unique to the market, Everlasting Valve engineered a self-lapping, rotating disc valve to provide longer service life and a tighter shut-off even with abrasive media.

Spring-loaded discs maintain contact with the sealing surfaces and protect them from erosive materials. A double disc and seat design permit inlet from either direction, so the valve can also be installed backward.

Other valves open and close in the same place each time, developing scratches and wear patterns that can weaken the seal, causing costly leaks. As the EVL valve opens and closes, the disc rotates incrementally, uniformly polishing away scratches and creating an ever-tightening seal. The seal actually gets tighter and stronger as it wears "in".

Advantages over traditional designs:
  • Self Cleaning Internals
  • Protection of Sealing Surfaces
  • Positive Shut Off
  • Self Lapping Discs
  • Separation of Pneumatic Actuator and Valve

Bulk Material Valves
For applications handling abrasive solids, Everlasting's BMV's withstand tough  applications including dry solids dense and dilute phase pneumatic conveying system s for transporter fill valve, discharge, vent and filling applications, transfer lines, under baghouses, silos, cyclones, ESPs and dust collectors.

Process Valves
Everlasting Valve's Process Valves are used worldwide for reactor loading, lockhoppers, pneumatic conveying systems, vessel discharge, and slurry applications.

Applications include etroleum refineries catalysts, chemical plant reactor loading, pneumatic conveying, inorganic chemicals, and line diverters.

Diverter Valves
Eliminate wasted time, downstream line plugging, full fringe bins and off-quality silos for significant savings in terms of parts, labor and lost production.

Designed for erosive slurries, abrasive solids and dry powders, including Portland Cement, bottom and fly ash, titanium dioxide, tabluar alumina, alumina silica, kaolin, Raney nickel catalysts and metal silicon powders.
