Regular Donation Activity has Resumed at the
Mary Brennan INN
How to Donate Goods to The INN
After a brief hitatus, the Mary Brennan INN soup kitchen is now collecting all regularly accepted donation items. Non-perishable food, in-season clothing, personal care items and some household items are accepted. Drop-off times are Monday-Friday from 9-11am and 2-4:30pm at the soup kitchen, located at 100 Madison Avenue in Hempstead.
"Empty Bowls" have Full Meaning at Adelphi
Adelphi University Participates in Empty Bowls Project 
Adelphi faculty, staff and students, including the youngest students from the Early Learning Center hand-crafted over 150 ceramic bowls to sell at a recent on-campus event. The project's goal was to gain awareness about the issues of hunger on Long Island. All proceeds from the sale of the bowls were donated to support The INN's programs.
Since joining the Empty Bowls Project in 2010, Adelphi has raised more than $4,000 from the sale of these hand crafted bowls.
