PRIVATE VIOLENCE
There have been many documentaries on this topic...
none can touch the power, sensitivity
and explanatory  skill of this one..."
- Vulture

PRIVATE VIOLENCE
Emmy Award nominated PRIVATE VIOLENCE, explores a simple but deeply disturbing fact of American life: the most dangerous place for a woman in America is her own home. Through the eyes of two survivors - Deanna Walters, a mother who seeks justice for the crimes committed against her at the hands of her estranged husband, and Kit Gruelle, an advocate who seeks justice for all women.

UNAFRAID
UNAFRAID is a compelling film... The film reminds us
to never doubt that we can advocate for system changes,
despite how challenging that process may be."
- Judy Szeg, Educator/Advocate, Safeline

UNAFRAID gives voice to four diverse rape survivors and shares the history of the pioneering treatment at  the  Crime Victims' Treatment Center where they receive counseling. At the Center, two unsung feminist heroes made huge strides in victims' rights and invented the rape kit, which not only made it easier to convict rapists in the criminal justice system but helped to shape our cultural acceptance of rape as a serious crime worthy of prosecution, and survivors as worthy of compassionate treatment.
