CHEESE-A-PALOOZA 2015
Labor Day Weekend Saturday & Sunday September 5 & 6
Cheese-A-Palooza returns to Downtown Kenosha's beautiful lakefront, Saturday & Sunday September 5th & 6th from 11:00am to 10:00pm. Once again there is great entertainment, activities for the kids, and food vendors serving up delicious tasting food, with many items featuring Wisconsin cheese. Also, The Kenosha Shrine Club is back with their beer garden, serving up a million dollar view of the harbor. Just remember, tipping a few helps The Shriners with their mission of providing free hospital care for children from all walks of life.
The Boucher Ford Challenge
This is not some cheesy contest. It's a competition of marathon proportions playing out at Cheese-A-Palooza. Twenty contestants are competing against each other to see who can outlast the others. The last one standing with his or her hand on the Ford Focus get to drive this brand new vehicle for 24 months, payment free. When at Cheese-A-Palooza stop by the Boucher Ford tent and see who's still in the hunt.
Kenosha's Grilled Cheese Invitational Returns
Last year our esteemed panel of judges taste-tested some of the most delicious grilled cheese sandwiches from favorite area restaurants. After extensive deliberation and re-tally of points scored, the deadlocked jury awarded the top prize to both the Daily Dose and Twisted Cuisine. Be sure to check out this years competition Sunday at 4:30 p.m. on the Boucher Ford Stage.

The Music Never Stops At Cheese-A-Palooza
Kicking off this year's festivities is the very talented Larry Hinds. Followed by 7th Heaven who in the past 3 years has charted #1 three times on the Midwest Billboard Charts with their hits "Stoplight," "Better This Way," and "Sing." They've played before millions, including the 80,000 people who saw them open for Bon Jovi and Kid Rock at Soldier Field. Also returning is a PB&J favorite, Serendipity featuring 5 very talented young ladies from Chicago. Speaking of favorites, Bostyxx who two years ago had thousands on their feet at Celebrate America returns with all of your favorite Styx and Boston hits. The Kenosha County Dairy Promotion Team Returns To Cheese-A-Palooza
In our busy lives, people sometimes forget the origins of the products we consume. If you live in Wisconsin, you know full well that without cows, there wouldn't be cheese. And those cows were once calves, like the ones you'll get to see and pet when you visit the Kenosha County Dairy Promotion Team in the Action Territory Kids Zone where you'll also find inflatable bounce houses and other activities for the kids.

Free Movie On The Big Screen
If you and your family had a terrific, wonderful, very good day at Cheese-A-Palooza, what better way to end the festivities then with a movie under the stars. On Sunday, at dusk, spread a blanket or bring your comfy chairs to the west lawn of the Civil War Museum for a free showing of "Alexander and The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day."

  The Kenosha Classic Cruise-In
The annual Kenosha Classic Cruise-In returns for its 12th year on September 5th. Last year, 848 cars were on display throughout Kenosha's Downtown streets including cars from the early 1900s to today, as well as custom and stock/classic hotrods.
