Back 2 School Bash - LaFayette
Powell Chapel United Methodist Church’s Youth Department has founded PHYRE (People Helping Youth Reach Excellence). PHYRE (pronounced “fire”) is an organized group/ministry whose primary focus is to help impact and enrich the lives of our youth. Last year, in early August, we held our fourth annual “Back to School Bash” which was a county-wide event. What a success! PHYRE, in partnership with Chambers County School District, were able to provide fun, food, games, inspirational speakers, live music and, most importantly over 500 backpacks for K-12 students filled with school supplies for our local youth. This year the “Back to School Bash” will be held on August 12, 2017 and will include:
Free school supplies for students of all ages
Free Food/Games
Motivational speakers and live musical entertainment
Spirit Stick Competition and much more…
We would appreciate your support and participation in making this event even more of a success this year and reaching more of Chamber County’s youth (our future). Please consider becoming a sponsor for this event. Sponsorship Form below.
