Principal's Note
Dear Carver Community,

Last December our Board of Education unanimously approved a resolution creating SCUSD as a Safe Haven School District.  Attached is Resolution 2915, the Recognition of a Safe Haven School District.  All students will be reading this document together during our Advisory periods this month. We will be talking about:
  •  promoting tolerance and acceptance over hate  speech.
  • Carver as a safe haven for students, families and the community
  • What it means to support diversity, inclusion, and the values of a multicultural-society
Our theme in September is Courage. These discussions will be celebrated at our Day of Courage Celebration on Thursday, September 28 from 10-12:30.

Sincerely,
The Carver Faculty and Staff

Giving to Carver shows your support of our diverse programs. As a public Waldorf school, we rely on donations to provide funding for all the "extras" for our students every day such as the high-quality art supplies students use every day in their classes. Your donations have helped pay for a music program, the mobile kitchen and chalkboards. Our next goal is shaded outdoor seating!
