Kicking into high gear in honor of Lupus Awareness Month

To kick off Lupus Awareness Month, we are proud to announce that  Mayor Betsy Hodges has proclaimed May 2015 as Lupus Awareness Month in the City of the Minneapolis

And awareness continues to build. The Four Seasons Curling Club hosted its second annual Lupus 'Spiel event May 1-3. The event not only raised over $25,000, but garnered increased awareness when FOX 9 reporter Leah Beno visited Fogerty Arena to cover this story on curling for a cause

Tune in to KFAN Radio (100.3 FM) or via iHeartRadio to hear Cory "Sludge" Cove of the Power Trip Morning Show as he broadcasts for 24 hours straight to raise funds and lupus awareness. Joined by a host of celebrity friends and KFAN personalities, Cory will be playing recorded stories from folks affected by lupus, offering up donation incentives, auctioning off sports memorabilia and experiences, and having fun.
