The National Council of Negro Women Black Family Reunion Celebration (BFRC) is the premiere family based program developed by the late Dr. Dorothy I. Height, former Chair and President Emerita of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. The BFRC has garnered as many participants as 400,000 over the traditional two day weekend with crowds that include families and guests from the Washington metropolitan area (D.C., Maryland, and Virginia).
