In October I wrote about the
overwhelming popularity of Curt Schalchlin's new Sans Liege wines,
in particular his 08 "The Offering", a blend of Grenache, Syrah,
Mourvedre, Viognier from Santa Barbara county. On Monday, the
Wine Spectator awarded The Offering with a 93 point
rating. Guess what?
