Learn to Code  
Patrons of all ages are invited to explore coding on Monday, December 4 from 5:00-6:00 pm or 6:00-7:00 pm. Bring your own laptop or register to use a library computer by calling 516-6050 or at
Storytime with Mr. & Mrs. Claus  
Join us on Wednesday, December 6 at 10:00 am for a very special family storytime. Santa and Mrs. Claus along with Dover Mayor Karen Weston will be our special guests!
Holiday Craft Workshop

Families with kids of all ages are invited to join us on Saturday, December 16 from 10:00am-12:00pm for holiday crafts, activities, and snacks. Piano player Tony McManus will set the mood with some Christmas carols.
Star Wars Mania 
Join us on Wednesday December 27 from 6:30-8:00 for a Star Wars extravaganza. Characters from 501st Legion will be available for photos, and Robin Vogt from Brick City Blockade Podcast will lead a discussion. Crafts, games, activities, and treats will also be part of the fun!

Join us for a Totally Radical 80's Escape Room on
Thursday, December 28 at 2pm for Middle School ages and 3pm for High School.Welcome back to 1986! Here you will find all of our cutting edge technology from the 1980's which you will need to use along with your knowledge of all that was Rad in the 80's to get yourself back to present day. STEM Saturday
Kids of all ages are invited to join us on Saturday, December 30th at 2pm for the Marble Run Challenge! We will form you into teams to see who can make the longest workable marble run. All materials will be provided just bring your imaginations!

On Friday, December 1st and the 15th from 11:00-11:30 am , adults with toddlers are invited to try out a fun introductory yoga class. Learn some basic poses to share with your child. No  experience necessary. Bring a mat if you have one.

Lego Saturdays

Every Saturday is a Lego Saturday! ! (December 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30)  Use our LEGOs
to build and create. Meet new friends, share your ideas, participate in interesting challenges and have fun! 
Saturday Matinees
Saturday Matinees are held in the Library  Lecture Hall Saturdays at 2:00 pm.

Paws for Reading

Murphy, a certified therapy dog, and her handler, Karen, will be in the children's room on Saturday, December 2 from 10:00am - 11:00am. Murphy is a great listener and especially loves beginning readers.

Creation Station 
Children of all ages are invited to make and take a festive holiday tree. Drop-in anytime from December 16 through December 23. Also, make a New Year's crown anytime between December 26 through December 30.
We want your old junk! 
The Library will be hosting another Take-Apart Event on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 2pm .  So once again we are asking for your old, broken down appliances, laptops, phones... Perfect time to clean house before the holidays.  We are looking for items that are safe to take-apart-nothing too big or with glass or sharp edges.
