Downtown Entrance Enhancement

Redevelopment Commissions Approves Project to Fix Two Railroad Bridges

In an effort to enhance the gateways of Fort Wayne, the Redevelopment Commission approved a project to fix two railroad bridges that cross Jefferson Boulevard. As visitors now enter the Summit City, they will soon see these bridges painted in a red-orange color, rather than the crumbled state they are in now.

Thank you to all of our volunteers that joined us on Saturday to help clean up Downtown Fort Wayne as part of IPFW's Big Event! Dine for Dance is a one day event in which local non-profits; the Fort Wayne Dance Collective and New American Youth Ballet, team up with local eateries to raise much-needed funds for the performing arts in our community.
