Our next beginner Upholstery Class will be beginning on Sundays beginning March 30 from 1:30-4:30 lasting for 4 sessions. Class cost is $125 which includes the chair, foam, batting, burlap, cording and instruction. This is a great chair to start with. You will learn how to make double welt cording. You will need to purchase 2 yards of fabric. If you choose to have a coordinating fabric for cording, you will need a 1/2 yard of it. Sign up and pay class cost soon to save your spot!! Limited space available.

This event is the first of what will become a once monthly social gathering of quilters, fabric lovers and the like. We're inviting people of ALL skill levels to come show off your finished projects, works-in-progress and share some fabric ideas you have for future projects.

Refreshments and light hors d'oeuvres will be served for your enjoyment. We encourage any and all to join us for a night of fun, fabric and friends as we GET QUILTY!

Lenten Fine Art Series
Holy Trinity 
The Church of the Holy Trinity will host their annual Lenten Fine Art Series. All performances will take place at 12:05 p.m. The events are free and open to the public. Tapestry 2014 
Tapestry: The Pilgrimage to Vicksburg is right around the corner! Mark your calendars for Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in April to experience the historic homes and hallways of Vicksburg! Some homes on tour include Bazsinsky House, Corners Mansion Inn ~ A Bed and Breakfast, The McNutt House, Baer House Inn Bed and Breakfast, and The Duff Green Mansion. Riverfest 2014
  
The 27th annual RiverFest will be held April 25th & 26th featuring live concerts from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am as well as free Saturday daytime activities. Gates for nightly events open at 6:00 p.m. and adRiverfest 2014mission is $10. Saturday's daytime activities start at 8:00 am at the Riverfest Arts & Crafts Show around City Hall. Other activities include live music, street performers, children's activities, food booths, and fabulous side-walk sales with participating downtown merchants. The Downtown Merchants will have fabulous sidewalk sales on
Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They will have great deals

Also joining us for a sixth year in a row is Burt Fleming of Wood Be Creations.

Burt offers a wide variety of subject matter for the "wood-b-carver" to choose from: birds, people, fish, and animals.

Ricky Noble "cartoonist" will be joining us during the day Saturday. The Vicksburg Farmers Market will be on Washington Street. Be sure to check out the wonderful produce and art! While you are downtown enjoying the fabulous sidewalk sales, being entertained by Burt Fleming, and shopping with the Vicksburg Farmers' Market, stop by and see the great Daytime performers
