GE Theatre - A coming of age story about a boy and his family who overcame great challenges by turning Disney animated movies into a language to express love, loss, kinship and brotherhood.
These local showings will benefit the Autism Society's work to empower children and adults with autism, with a portion of the proceeds from every ticket going to the local organization. For every $6.50 ticket sold, $1.50 will go to the Autism Society of the Greater Capital Region

Hometown Heroes Banner Program

State Street & Around City Hall

Now in its second year, the Hometown Heroes Banner Program honors veterans and active duty service members from the City of Schenectady. Each banner features an individual's photo, name, and branch of service. Sponsored by companies, organizations, and families, the banners will be displayed on light poles along State Street and around City Hall until just after Veterans Day.

A map of banner locations and brief biographies of many honorees can be viewed and downloaded on the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation's website. Major sponsorship provided by SEFCU.
