At a small public radio station in upstate New York, whose announcers are retelling the classic Charles Dickens story on Christmas Eve, art imitates life as the radio station owner Eb Scrooge undergoes a metamorphosis and finds out the meaning of Christmas Day.
GE Theatre - One of contemporary music's most vibrantly eclectic ensembles, using diverse instruments from around the globe to create an exotic palette of sonic colors and melodies.

Downtown Schenectady's City Hall-iday. The DSIC's 13th annual event is one of Schenectady's County's largest free hands-on holiday happenings.

Want help identifying local charities in need during this season of giving? This web-based map identifies over 600 locations within the Capital District where you can make charitable donations and/or volunteer your personal time to help others. Use the map to locate a charitable organization and then click its marker to display information about the site, including address, types of donations accepted, and hours of operation.
The 14th Annual Giving Map is a FREE service provided by
Fountains Spatial,
