Proctors Announces 2017-2018 Season

Proctors has announced the Broadway shows coming to Schenectady for their 2017-2018 season. Among the productions are  The Color Purple , the 2016 revival of the musical based on Alice Walker's novel;  Fun Home , the musical adaptation of Alison Bechdel's graphic memoir; and productions of The King and I , Les Miserables , Finding Neverland , The Bodyguard  and On Your Feet!

Proctors  also made the surprise announcement that the musical phenomenon   Hamilton  will be appearing in their 2018-2019 season! Subscribe to THIS season, and you will be guaranteed a ticket to Hamilton NEXT season!

Bale Folclorico Da Bahia - Feb. 16, 8pm   
Mainstage - This marvelous company, with its dancers, musicians and singers, represents the culture, the traditions, the beliefs, the history, the colors, the music, and the movements of the people of Bahia.

Education Center - Leah Bonnema is a stand-up comic based in New York City and has been featured on AXS TV's Gotham Comedy Live, VH1's 100 Greatest Series, IFC's Comedy Drop.

Mainstage - Let It Be imagines The Beatles had continued their journey, and turns back time to what would have been John Lennon's 40th Birthday - October 9, 1980.For one night, the Fab Four come together again on stage after a decade apart to perform many of their hits.

Schenectady Civic Players - "Nunsuch"

Nunsuch: A one woman comedy written by and starring Pat Brady, and directed by Chris Foster, about a fictitious nun will be performed on the Players' main stage at 8pm following a 7pm reception in the Green Room. Proceeds benefit Civic Players' Centennial/Elevator Fund Project.
