A 20-year drought has caused a terrible water shortage, forcing a government ban on private toilets. Anyone caught going anywhere other than the pay-as-you-go abodes, owned and operated by the Urine Good Company, will be sent to the dreaded and mysterious Urinetown. This crowd-pleasing satire, reminding us it's a "Privilege to Pee" but to "Follow Your Heart," has romance as well as comedy. 2nd Annual Schenectady Soup Stroll
Next Weekend!
January 28, 12-5pm

Starting at noon, restaurants in Downtown Schenectady will open their doors to serve a variety of hot soups to event attendees as they stroll around downtown.

To participate in the Schenectady Soup Stroll:
1) Visit a participating restaurant location and pick up a map.
2) Stroll around to other restaurant locations tasting fantastic soups for a $1 a cup (3 oz. serving).

We currently have 24 participating restaurants! Stay up to date on current information, including soup recipes, by visiting our Facebook Event.

GE Theatre - The earliest version of the true crime tale of Roxy Hart, the wild, jazz-loving, married woman who killed her boyfriend in cold blood and became a media sensation as she finagled her way out of being convicted. SILENT w/score of 1920s jazz and pop recorded.

Loving - January 24, 25 & 26  
GE Theatre - The true story of interracial couple Richard and Mildred Loving, who fell in love and were married in Virginia in 1958, yet their marriage was illegal under Virginia law, leading them to be first jailed, and then banished from the state.

19th annual regional and statewide invention competition for students from grades K through 8. An added bonus is that Invention Convention is aligned with NYS MST Learning Standard 5, which relates to Technology and Engineering Design. Must submit online application on or before March 10.
